A collection of shows I have done for Radio Naba 93.1 FM (Riga, Latvia) in 2011. The show is called Rasols (which is the name of traditional Latvian salad known for multitude of ingredients) and is hosted by 5 members of DJ wing of DABA.INFO - Arno , Bombey , Contour , Marimana and myself, DJ Snobo aka Gosh from Yaputhma on a rotation principle. So it took me roughly one show per month, with exceptions for shows when I broadcasted fresh recordings from live events. You can either listen to...

A lo-fi collection of outtakes and rare jams by Yaputhma Sound System, a space-dance-trance-rave-freak post-everything collective from Latvia (1995-97). Or better here: yaputhma.bandcamp.com For "normal" albums, check Space Trip 2 Yaputhma (1996) and Rīgas Disco (both recorded in 1996).

The unofficial double album of Yaputhma Sound System, collected from the lo-fi records made in the rehearsing basement and a few live captures, then digitally edited, EQed and mastered. Unique blend of trance-rave-rock-newwave-post-everything. (c) 1996. Highlights include: Thru The Space, So I Thank U, Free Me, Rigas Disco, Never Let Me Down (DM Cover), 60 60 Yello Screen (Digital Emotion cover). Or better here: yaputhma.bandcamp.com For the studio-recorded album "Rīgas Disco",...

A collection of tracks made circa 1996-1999 using a lo-fi setup of a PC, Cakewalk, Yamaha SW60XG synth card and in a few cases FastTracker II. No hardware/software synths, no MIDI keyboard or controllers, no external audio post-processing. Also check the Anthology volume 2 . These tracks have never been released. In 2001, the 2CD release has been planned but never happened.
Topics: electronica, IDM, downtempo, drum'n'bass, house, trip-hop, techno

Short-lived Latvian band Pasaki Onkuliem Ata (1994-95) recorded only one EP (which was never released anyway), but pawned a way for more exciting musical circus formations like Yaputhma Sound System and Gosha & The Brand New Hedgehogs (the former being basically an extended reincarnation of POA). Taking main inspiration from Pixies, Pasaki Onkuliem Ata approach was being as much musically promiscuous as possible, blending virtually any existing musical genres according to a plan or...

An unreleased lo-fi album by short-lived freak/art/improv/post-everything collective Gosha & The Brand New Hedgehogs [Gosha i Vesma Novye Yezhi] (Riga, Latvia, 1995), lead by Gosh from Yaputhma . Recorded in a true lo-fi style in the rehearsal basement. After a few months of existence and a few locally successful shows, this band has transformed into Yaputhma Sound System . The previous band co-lead by Gosh from Yaputhma was Pasaki Onkuliem Ata , which shared the same concept of musical...

The concept album released in 1997 in quite limited edition, cassette only, by short-lived Annemarie Records (Riga, Latvia). All music composed entirely on a tracker software FastTracker II. No hardware/software synths, no MIDI keyboard or controllers, no external audio post-processing. Attitude: lo-fi, post-everything, tongue-in-cheek or out-of-place samples, raving & having fun. Other Gosh's solo electronic works from the 90s are here: Anthology vol.1 , Anthology vol.2 . Current home of...

The "official" album by Yaputhma Sound System, Latvian trance-space-rave-rock-post-everything band from the 1990s. On the contrary to the lo-fi "Space Trip 2 Yaputhma" , it was recorded in a normal studio, which made half of the tracks sound dull, sterile and boring. The other half is nevertheless fun, quirky and post-everything by all means (but still miles away from a classic psychedelic, rough rave freak-out of live Yaputhma, which can be tasted on the abovementioned...
